Light house cinema was planning on running a Halloween-themed film season on the back half of october. It was based around horror films from women directors. I pitched the idea of a marketing campaign that consisted of two retro-styled b-movie inspired posters. They could be shared across their social media every day in a different colour combination. that way they are not spamming and have fresh content to promote the film season. the posters were inspired in part by pasted-up event posters from a few decades ago. You would see the same poster printed on different coloured paper plastering a wall next to each other to grab attention. I did all the illustration work and hand drew all the typography. The only part I didn't create was the light house cinema logo. In total there were about 43 images.
Below are mood boards I made to focus the ideas and tone of the work.
